2、 and fruits are used for Chinese folk medicine, and its fruits are edible. Its roots are used for the treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, dyspepsia, uterine bleeding, hemoproctia, archocele, beriberoid disease and burns .I

3、t has been reported that flavonoids, diarylheptanoids, triterpenoids, tannins and volatile oil have been isolated from other Myricaceae plants, such as M. rubra, M. arborea, M. gale and so on. However, the information on

4、 the chemical constituents of the roots of this plant is still scarce. In due to find the chemical consitituents that relate to pharmacodynamic action, we investigated for chemical constituents by chemical and spectrosco

5、pic analysis. And we will research on the pharmacological effect in the future. By phytochemical research, twenty-three compounds, including diarylheptanoi- ds, Triterpenoids, fatty acid and sterol, were isolated from th

6、e ethyl acetate-soluble part of 95% ethnol extract of M. nana, and identified eight compounds (myricanone, myricanol, porson, myricananone, myricananadiol, maslinic acid, Arjunolic acid, myricanadiol)，among which three c
